Despite service improvements, rising consumer grievances remain a concern for India's banking system, according to the RBI's Trend and Progress of Banking report. The central bank is prioritizing consumer education, protection, and robust grievance redressal, including combating digital frauds and enhancing the Integrated Ombudsman Scheme.
